I've read on here some brokers want your authority to be active for so long, which I understand.

I had my authority to run a party bus, the dot and mc number started in 2014, I quit the party bus business and now the authority is inactive.

If I reactivated it and changed from passengers to hauling cargo would the brokers still treat me like a newbie or just look at how old it is?

    Thanks

Brokers treat old authority different than brand new authority. There are plenty of reasons why somebody may have reinstated an old authority, they don't seem to care, old is good, new, not so much.

There will be some that treat it as a new authority. I would still use the older numbers though.

Bean Jr. and pontiac467 Thank this.
