Old Guy Starting Over

Hello to all.

 

Thank you dogknot.

 

I'm 42. Which in the reality of life is not very old, but some have told me it's too old to be starting over. Hence the title of the thread.

The reason why I'm after a new line of work is for the past 20 years I have worked for the Government in one fashion or another, military to state and county governments. Don't get me wrong it was great to raise a family with, and if your anything like me family is first and foremost before anything else.

Well like I said 20 years later Families all grown up raising their own or at least stable enough were I feel comfortable to move on and do something I have always wanted to do.

Life is to short to sit around and watch as the world drives by, (no pun intended) with a little bit of security behind me I'm ready to get out there and give it a real go.
