Their not much but their all we have. They aggravate the megas and the goberment trying to stick up for us...... I'd say that's worth the cost of membership .....And if you do go o/o they provide a lot of services for a reasonable price.
Boomer 1 Thanks this. -
I am not sure I would join if they paid me.
A lot of stuff they do I disagree with.Roadmedic, Boomer 1 and BigBadBill Thank this. -
I'm with Balakov. At once I was just annoyed with the spinning of their antics. But recently they have taken actions to the detriment of the industry in what can only be described as a backroom deal to build their insurance offering.
Boardhauler, Boomer 1, joseph1135 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I was not an 0/0, but am a member of OOIDA for 25 years. Sift through the information for what fits your needs. There's some good information plus the monthly magazine "LandLine."

Bill,
Have you ever seen a financial statement for OOIDA?
I would really like to know how they spend all the money they make selling insurance. I would like to know how much is spent on executive compensation to start with.
I really think we need an alternative organization that would serve ALL professional drivers, company or O/O.BigBadBill and Rawze Thank this. -
No one else has done what they did in Tennessee 20 years ago, or more recently in Minnesota. They may not be the perfect fit for everyone, but they are the best game in town. The magazine itself is worth the membership costs.
