Was just curious about how much it cost others to operate their semis per mile. I have a 2005 freightliner and 53' dry van. I work with a broker and I'm new to this and want to make sure I'm making enough per mile.

I've seen people post cost per mile figures here anywhere from .90 to $2 per mile. What someone else's cost per mile is has no effect on whether or not your charging enough.
Broke Down 69, CJndaTruck and Straight Stacks Thank this. -
Also what's average pay per mile for 53' dry van
-
depends on area go into a truckstop and look at the DAT shows what loads are paying for a general idea. Dry Van doesn't pay that much anyway... You go so much people doing it.

Think about what you asked. You wanna know guys operating cost (which will be different) and then you follow up by asking if your getting enough per mile??? What kinda reaction did you expect.
