Sometimes you just already know you're not going to take the job , so there's no need to impress anyone at that point - you're just grabbing at anything that would fit ; your needs
....these companies are so full of BS most of the time anyway why not shoot to kill ?

If the driver has taken care of his license and his driving career he has every right to be choosy about where he makes his investments and if he smells a skunk in the wood pile stomp- it's head in.

 

Trucking companies, as a rule, get the kind of drivers they deserve.

 

My question is, Who in their right mind wants to grind out 3200 miles a week?

Unlike you, I have substantially more experience. And would never have responded to the ad in the first place.

I was good as a company driver, bringing home 900+ a week on < 2400 miles a week.

I make a hell of a lot more than that now. With even fewer miles.

Just call me lazy.

 

They offered you a contract. Says so right in the texts you posted. You never showed up to look at it.

 

Get over yourself, chief. Hope you find an employer that puts up with your attitude.
