They basically see if you are safe. Blinkers, check mirrors often, just don't scare the passenger. No prob.

Awesome. Glad they aren't going to make us do the hard stuff right off the bat.

Since you'll be going with a trainer,I don't think it'll be too hard.Once you both get qualified, you'll have another test.Think is what the tester will be looking at is you guys keeping the trk/trl on the road and your turns. Also your shifting. They are' nt going to fail you for a bad shift as long as you can recover a gear so trk dont die on the road.Don't think youll have any backing. They know youre new and youll be tested on that after training.

I'm slightly confused, road test and training? You will have a CDL or student license already, right? Test for a company, or for the CDL? I just A variety of driving, left turns, right turns which are often tighter, following distances, turn signals mean a lot both on and off, scanning the mirrors and gauges shifting, like Patty said you don't have to be perfect, but you do have to control the vehicle, find a gear that works, but mostly it'll be familiar to you already from school. Focus, don't get too nervous (breath smooth and steady) you should be fine. The MVD test for a Class A is a little more work. Don't run over the cones, stop and pull up!
