You can ask the recruiter or call the terminal direct and find out what you should bring as a trainee. but I would travel as lite as possible.
Also do not have any medical issues and bring a copy of application and make sure the one you fill out in orientation is exactly like the one you turned in to recruiting. DO NOT omit anything in application no matter how far back. Make sure everything on application is accurate and complete.
Do not have any gaps in employment more then 30 days without proof of unemployment (check stubs) and or notarized statements from at least 2 people who can verify you where actively seeking employment. If at school your graduation certificate or transcripts will suffice. Bottom line FED req no unexplained gaps more then 30 days. Seen many get sent home in orientation on this req.
USX does cattle calls and you are not vetted till orientation. If to many people decide to show up they will weed people out on application and DOT medical.
Can't verify past employment? you go home, they find out things that should be on ap and they are not? you go home. Typically a third of those who show up get sent packing for one reason or another. So have your ducks in a row and don't believe the recruiter if they told you everything checks out because they only get bodies to the terminal. You won't know that till orientation.
