OTR with Authority

    Established place of business if you can't prove residency. Like a company in Illinois opening a terminal in Texas. If you live in the state you are registering your truck in, the and can prove it wit 3 qualifying pieces of identification "established place of businesses" doesn't apply.
    I went through this trying to incorporate in Nebraska while living in North Carolina. I ended up dissolving in Nebraska and incorporating in NC after I had already obtained my MC and USDOT numbers. To make matters worse, I had to change the name of my business because the name was already taken in NC which was an even bigger pain in the ###.

    You can take Schneider of that short list for now. They are messing up there ic program really good. Between rates that stink and new safety requirements for the trucks, they really just want company drivers who think making $200 a week more over being a company driver is the best thing since sliced bread instead of small business owners.
