Im driving a 2010 International with the Cummins.
Im trying to find the location of the senser on my truck that tells the truck computer what the out side air temp is.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Hmmm and why would you wanna find that ?
-
Because it 40 out and it says it 90. I want to move it to a location that will give a more accurate reading. 85% of the time its wrong by more than 10 degrees. Driving or not.

front end left side, kinda by where the tow hook goes. There is also another one on the left side frame rail by the air dryer.
TheSquatch Thanks this. -
i found the one up front still looking for the one under the cab.

Mine is noticeably off by about 20 degrees all the time also. Oddly the preset idle temps still work fine, I am guessing the computer reads intake air temp instead of off the sensors? Although my preset temps are pretty close together. (Idle under 50 or over 72.)

Not mine. All i did was remove the zip ties holding it in place and its within 5 degrees almost all the time now. ^_^

Did you find the one under the cab? If so where at?
