It’s hard to find automatic trucks in the real low price ranges on the used market.

 

I say that because it took all of 4 posts for this thread to go from answering the Op’s question to the typical rhetoric.

He didn’t ask how much money he needs, how to start a business, how to/ when to/ where to buy a truck. He simply asked when auto’s first showed up in class 8 trucks.

Isn't that the point ... Most responses are to scare off or denigrate. ... The internet in general and forums in particular are for self indulgent, ego gratifying entertainment.

 

Actually no. If you don’t have a thick skin. Maybe trucking isn’t something someone should consider as a career.

There are no moderators at customers.

But I agree with your point. No one actually answered the OP’s question. But I also see why.

 

People get on here and ask for advice and then when its something they don't wanna hear they get mad... New truck drivers today think its easy to go out and do a Lease Purchase deal or some kind of deal and make a boat load of money... They hear the "you can make $5,000 per week with our lease purchase" and they run with it... they don't wanna hear the cost..

 

No, I dont think so. I think OP didnt have enough money put back to pay his internet subscription bill and its shut off.
