Do not drive with a wallet in your hip pocket! This tries to curve your spine & the OP knows this & doesn't drive with his wallet.

Those rub downs at the Oriental Spas work wonders.

If your tailbone hurts while driving, sit on a donut pillow so the tip of the tailbone is in the center of the donut.

Only 24?? I'd thought you were older.

Like I said, shouldn't take a 20 +\- year old that long too get adjusted to any truck.

Watch that 50s crack, lol.Im over 50 have the body of a person in their 20s and don't feel anywhere close to being wore out.But for new drivers it does take time getting use to driving all day every day.My shoulder use to hurt just from driving. Its something that has to go away on its own and try not to put too much stress on it.

No worries on the wallet. I quit even carrying it in my back pocket a few years ago. Tailbone hasn't been an issue for me at all. Maybe all those many miles on a motorcycle helped. ;). As far the massages, I'm sure they'd be great, but have never had one. Hmmm...wonder what my bride might think? lol

Get up on the wheel, being closer to the wheel takes a lot of the weight of your arms off your shoulders. raise the seat height some too and also keep the seat back in a more upright position. It can also ease tiredness in your back. Start there and make small adjustments until you find your "sweet spot" and that may help a lot.

Try all the different adjustments to your seat and the steering wheel. If this persists, get it checked out. It most likely is just muscles that are being required to stay in a position they aren't used to, but you never know. But moving your seat positions periodically will relieve some of that stress. Get out of your truck and do some walking several times a day. If you can't take the time to do that, you are running to hard. Park way at the back at rest areas and truck stops, so you have a bit of a walk to get to the facilities.
Try isometric exercises while you drive. Do a Google search on them.

Uh-oh, man you are practically pushing up daisies already!:biggrin_25523:

YOU are over 50? I'd have never thought that from your posts! I figured you were "29 and in a holding pattern!":biggrin_25525:
