    The OP said they were interstate not intrastate, In this regard state lines do not really matter. However, if they were intrastate than the entire situation would be different! The company drivers would not be able to cross state lines. Right now I got a bad headache just don’t feel like getting into this interstate intrastate thing!

    You're right, the OP did say that. My point is that the federal regulations only quick in in interstate commerce. BTW, this is one of the reasons I am not against under 21 year interstate drivers. From Edison, NJ to Staten Island is less than 15 miles, but interstate, whereas Los Angeles to Sacramento is around 400 miles and intrastate, and under 21 can drive that. I did when I was 19.
