Take a cab. Even if its a 20 - 30 mi ride home,.. it would still be cheaper than what ever could happen to your personal vehicle.

Truck stops are a hot spot for all kinds of nefarious sorts of people. Not just the truckers,.. LOL

Really? Uber doesn't go by town. Anyone close to you comes and gets you. Uber really is a pretty cool option. Literally dozens and dozens of drivers see your request for a ride. You'll have no issues with it.

    Another suggestion,..

I park my truck at a cement plant. Its lit up like a stadium at night. I have 24/7 access to my truck. They let me work on my truck there. I can drop my trailer and run the truck to a shop or what ever I need. I stay out for extended periods,.. so it doesnt make sense to pay on a month to month like the others that park there do. I come in every 4 - 6 weeks and its just $80 for the week or 2 that I park there.

Being a small town,.. I would imagine many of the local business are open to a truckers needs. Drive around and look for places that look like they have room to park your truck and looks safe. Ask if they would allow you to park and offer a reasonable amount.

There is a church near by where I live,.. they offer truck parking for $50 a month. Its dark there at night is why I dont park there. But just to give you an idea of where to check.

The other bonus is at a private parking place like that, you can park your personal vehicle there and it should be safe until you come back home.

Just some ideas. Look around,.. you might be surprised.

Most RV yards love semis... why? You are paying the fee, but rarely using the space.
