When you gave the 2 weeks notice did you have a manager from the office sign your copy of the notice?

Did you take pictures of the truck and get a final inspection done by the shop?

If the manager refuses to sign make sure they get a copy signed by yourself and on your copy note that they refused to sign. Note that also on their copy. In other words both parties should sign both sets of notices.

Were you a company driver, or owner-operator?
And what is the name of this fine company?
And how it go from being handled by the ESC to court?

Why would you even have to give notice, its at-will, and right to work state. Unless you are under a contract of some sort.
