Pierce fire truck problem

    I am work a pierce fire truck. Cummins 8.9 engine and allison 3000 EVS transmission. When we apply the Park brake or shift Transmisson D to N. Engine speed will increase to 1500 RPM and then to idle automatically. Any suggestions. Thanks.

    Cold only or does it do this hot as well?

    My first guess is it has something to do with customer parameters/PTO settings for the application.
