This is with out a doubt the most thoughtfully laid out, non busy, easy to park at, easy to fuel at T/S I've ever had the "pleasure" to layover at.

I'm seriously not sure how on earth I'm even going to get out of here...

I'm willing to bet the people that pulled in nose first in front of the fuel islands will never do that again.:biggrin_2559:

I avoid that place like the plague... #### I hate that place.

If I have a wait I usually park at T&A... even if I'm not hauling anything from there. :biggrin_25523:

I usually park at the Valley weigh and wash a half mile from that Pilot. Come out of the Pilot and go straight thru the light, and it's on that street on the right.

There is some killer mexican food across the street though! I know of a little secret spot a few miles from there where you can park at the beach. Have even done a little surfing from time to time there.

I feel bad for the poor drivers who need to reweigh at this place. I've watched several attempt and give up.:biggrin_25513:

That place is a pit, even by Pilot standards. Why, given the # of trucks passing through Salinas somebody won't invest in a real truck stop to serve the area is beyond me.

You should have seen your choice of truckstops before the Pilot was built. You could always go to the Motel 6 down the street and watch that show....just make sure you have your gun, pit bull and tire thumper at the ready.

I'm guessing the choices were slim and none ?
