The first thing I would do is call the notary.
With that being said I could not get my tag until my 2290 was paid.
But you need to call the notary because I couldn't just file that online I had to go to Philadelphia and actually go into the office and hand them a check and have them give me a receipt.
I don't remember all of the circumstances surrounding that but they definitely would not give me a tag without showing that the 2290 was paid.
Definitely check with them before you go online and just find a service to do your 2290.

2290 is REQUIRED to be paid before you can get a plate

You might want to consider putting the truck in service December, if you worked all year and paid in taxes you could get most of it back. It’s your money and if you let the government keep it I assure you they will use it wisely.
just a little bonus to get you started.blacklabel, Dave_in_AZ and Pittstruck Thank this. -

A lot of good info on here guys and I appreciate it very much. I’m paying cash for the truck if that helps. Physical damage insurance should be all I need to get home correct? Getting it through ooida. I won’t be leased on anywhere at the moment.
