Hello from Dallas!
I am bored and broke and have been waiting for a load for 52 hours. And this is the "home" terminal. Is everybody out there as slooooww as we have been? My hubby and I are O/O leased to a ltl company and last week we got a WHOPPING 800 miles-Team. I have been in this business for 13 years and have never seen it so bad. So PLEASE, oh PLEASE won't somebody, anybody just fire me and get it over with?
Please just FIRE ME, get it over with!

I GET SO CRANKY SITTING IN A PARKING LOT!!To me there is really NOTHING worse than sitting in my truck in a parking lot. I just hate it. I know that I can't go home but I sure don't want to sit here. I have checked in with a few of the drivers I have met over the years and they are in either the same or close to the same situation as me. Some are company drivers, some O/O's, some are already layed off locally. I am glad to have joined this site, it gives me an outlet for my frustrations. Hi lonewolf, I appreciate the comeback. I know that the economy stinks and that IF I were leased on to a company with company trucks to compete with it would be worse for me. That's why I am complaining tonight...this is a all O/O company. I'm just grouchy from looking at this parking lot for 54 hours now! It was nice of you to reply. Gives me someone interesting to interact with.

Hey lil Blue, good of you to offer some understanding. Throw me a lifeline! First I survived 5 dollar a gal. fuel, then when fuel got reasonable BANG...no freight. Can there be anything else that will conspire to take my FUN outta truckin! Thanks for the reply and the well wishes.
