You'll need a laptop with Cat ET software and a Cat Comm Adapter for sure. Probably need password generating software as well.

I have the source for newest software 2021A v1.0 Full service Dealer ET. Also comes with password generator and instructions if you choose to make changes. I had problems downloading the software to my computer when link was sent to my email. Contactacted support at 9 at night and got immediate response and web site owner did it all for me via teamviewer app. Was up and running in about 20 minutes. 200 dollars for 4 year subscription and im in no way affiliated with the source but its legit and was referred to them by the vendor that sold me cats newest cat comm. I agree dont buy the chinese knock offs. Tried one and it wouldnt communicate. You wil ALSO need CATS 6 to 9 pin adapter that costs 100 bucks. Aftermarket or cheap ones will NOT work. Cat changes the orientation of the wires. Pm me if you need link to cat et

only place i know of is ebay. You dont need the latest and greatest. you can buy cat comm2 or whatever.
