Yo, have been having some issues with fuses on the plug end itself. 15A fuses seem to get hot enough to make things sticky on the collapsable button end. Have just burnt through a second fuse as well. Can get a replacement specific to that type 15A AGC at the J , but in looking at the back of yhe inverter it says its rated at 40A? I am hesitant to put a 30A fuse I have in the multipack I bought a couple weeks ago.
Bigger question is to prevent this in the future. Ii have been using an outlet in the open cubby under the tv cabinet. Pita to get to but everything can be easily tucked away when shut down.
Which outlets are you guys using during charging? IIRC moosc was using a dash outlet.
Have any of you had any issues at all? What were/are they and what was the fix?

I have to replace the plug every couple of months. Over time it heats and warps and seems to short itself out. Keep in mind I'm only using the battery system once o month or so when I have a trainee that needs it. The rest of the time I just use the inverter to charge my laptop.
What seems to create the heat is when the charger is set to high and then I shut the truck off. If I set it to the "Turtle" speed the plugs seem to last longer. I also try and make sure the battery is fully charged every day as most of my guys have to plug their cpaps into the inverter which plugs into the battery. I think yours has a 12 V plug so you shouldn't run into that problem.
I use the outlet in the cubby by the bunk controls as there is nothing else plugged into that circuit. The ones on the passenger side of my truck all run off the same fuse (yes, 4 outlets one fuse) and I have my Coleman plugged in over there.mickeyrat Thanks this. -
Check with the shop. Ask for some spare plugs. I remember reading at west Memphis they switch plugs and told us whitch outlet to use. Haven't used mine in a few months. Just collects dust. There's cpap machines that are portible and have small battery packs for sale but sni and PPD refuse to listen. They both are in bed with resmed. That's why we can't different machines or mask

How about just seeing your doctor about treating sleep apnea with a MDA... oral appliance that treats most cases of sleep apnea!

I use a CPAP and believe that RESMED makes smaller travel CPAPS and battery powered versions as well.

Not sure. Did not look too deeply into yet. Just a superficial view of their models on a google search. I know they have a lot of choices. Cannot say for sure whether what I saw would work in this situation.

Resmed only has the s9 and the newest one. Both aren't small and don't actually have portable battery packs. I still prefer the z9 but SNI n ppd won't let insurance cover it.
