Actually, kidding aside, the palms are what grips, mostly and the fingers tend to hang over but barely touches the grips, but even so, the wind etc on the fingers would tend to keep them dry, while the palms resting fully on grips at all times tend not to get any air circulation. Unless you're hotdogging or shaking your hands and letting them hang so the blood can flow again. :)

Fingerless in the summertime full gloves in winter. I may be totally wrong, just what I've heard in the past. I used to get weight lifter gloves, lots of padding in the palm. But I did this because on long rides on my hard tail shovel it helps keep my hands from going to sleep from the vibration.

IMG_0863.jpeg IMG_0860.jpeg Off topic: This is how I store bungees now. I put them into 2 small heavy duty plastic garbage cans. Those cans go in my headache locker in front of my chains. I used to do perfect bundles of 30 in each bundle. But the stick together and grab everything like Velcro. At ATS I'm tarping several times a week and I need a quicker way to get going and pull out bungees every freaking day.

Whipping out the bungees and putting them away like this has made that job a lot easier. Just an FYI, nothing earth shattering:)
