I’m guessing you really hate those 45 mph speed zone throughout Chicagoland.

 

A 55 MPH speed limit will mess up anybody's day/week if they're not being paid by the hour.

Just stay in the right lane and MYOB.

 

It's more dangerous to go against the flow then with it if your going 55 and everyone else is doing 65+ your way more likely to get rear-ended.
And it shouldn't bother you so much focus on you and you'll be happier

 

I must go through Chicago at the wrong time. I’d be ecstatic to make it up to 55 most days. Lol

 

Actually, I have to side with the OP. The 65 mph trucks will hammer through the 55 zone like super truckers, then when the speed goes up to 70, they are in the middle lane clogging things up. I see the same crap in my area every day, especially in Cedar Rapids where the speed limit goes from 70 to 60 to 55 to 60 to 70. The 65’ers just keep their foot to the floor through it all, licking their windows the whole way. Always been a pet peeve of mine.

 

Its the only time the mega companies get to speed.. Its easy to get around them on the interstate... Now when its really irritating to me is when ur on a 2 lane and they cant even do the speed limit - then u get to the little town and speed limit is 35 and they pass u doing 50.. Only to have to pass then again on the highway.
