I had a bad experience at Prime Inc. when I signed up for training, I thought they were an excellent company because I really haven't heard anything negative about them. When I went to their training simulator I was having some difficulty. I asked a trainer if he could help me so he came over and got really pissed at me and accused me of not listening. I told the trainer politely that I was listening. The trainer then said oh, you're not listening to me. He then said he's gonna stop helping me to go help someone else. He then proceeded to tell me to leave the simulator. I personally thought he was unprofessional and rude. I would never want to work for this company. I was told he did the same thing to 3 other students. Maybe they're too big, I don't know!!!!

Wait, what? You haven't heard any bad about Prime?
Where have you been, the far side of the moon? Perhaps you had your head buried in the sand aka an ostrich? I mean ok, Prime might not be a horrable company, but excellent? No way. No mega is excellent. They all blow.
Go to a school and get your CDL, then go to a decent company that hires new drivers. Stay away from the megas. If you must go to one, Swift, for all their faults, is a choice (notice I omitted the word good there)Leftlane101, snowlauncher, JimmyWells and 7 others Thank this. -
I don't know if Prime is worth 2 squats or not.
That said, one person a company does not make. Did you bring this issue up with your recruiter, the trainer's supervisor, anyone in management?MachoCyclone, Lonesome, Puppage and 1 other person Thank this. -
Should have asked the trainer if he could be trained on how to simulate someone with people skills. Trainer is a twat waffle.
Frank Speak, Steel Dragon, motocross25 and 6 others Thank this. -

Sad part is these companies like prime insist on doing their testing and training with those simulators. I can tell you from my experience those "simulators" are nothing but fancy video games and completely useless for any real world testing. It's obvious the training staff at prime and these other mega training companies that advocate for training with those machines are nothing but glorified recruiters. This is trucking, not aviation.
snowlauncher Thanks this. -
