    Hello,

    Anyone ever have this problem:
Rear brake relay valve was leaking. Purchased a new one from parts store then installed it. The brand new valve is leaking from the same exact spot of the old one. The pic shows the new valve with the ABS valves connected. I DID NOT replace the ABS valves. They were not leaking.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!!!

Thing you HAVE to remember with air brakes is that the exhaust ports on most valves are open when the valve is not actuated. This means its usually a component downstream that has failed and is backfeeding.

If the old and new valves are leaking from their exhaust ports, I would highly suspect the interlink o-ring that seperates the air between the service and park sides of the brake chamber has failed.

If you can, try and pinch off the park lines at the chambers, 1 at a time and see if the leak stops.
