Well first off, Gerry, it's Extrawide, not "Supersingle."

    2) Secondly, i never even knew recap extrawides existed. Didn't think they've been around long enough/not enough "cores" around yet? i guess when you combine greed with people there's almost anything out there.

    3) NEVER BUY RECAPS UNLESS YOU ARE STRICLY LOCAL. I.e., you don't drive more than 200 miles a day.

    4) This brings to debate wether it's advisable to go with extrawides at this point vs. conventional duals. Is the availability there yet? Gerry is finding that out for us, apparently. i've often thought that i would go with extrawides because i like the concept on my truck----if i had a truck; i fantasize a lot.

i dunno, maybe switch back to conventional duals, amigo.

RE-caps exist, I had them 5 years ago. Stay away from super-singles (extra-wides). Save your self some grief.

    What he said X2
The tire place we deal with doesnt charge us for casings... i assume they get enough casings from steer axles? Pay for cap only.
And has been said, i would take a set of duals anyway you figure it
