problem with tripac shutting down with A/C on.

My tripac will start up and A/C kicks in and works fine for less than a minute. Then the control panel goes dark and the engine dies. The control panel wont light up for a little over a minute, then it will start up and it does the same thing. It starts up and runs like normal in battery tender mode. Only has the problem in A/C mode. Anyone else ever have a problem like this?

UPDATE: Engine doesnt have to be running for issues to occur. The fan can just be running and the control panel will go black randomly. Sometimes it will light back up without physically turning it on. Also does it when in heat mode. It almost seems like something is resetting in the computer.
