I have 2 tickets on my driving record. 1 for speeding 1 to 5 over on the freeway, and the other was for failure to obey traffic light.
I have talked to my recruiter and he said that Pam allows 1 major and up to 2 minor traffic violations. The failure to obey is considered a major violation. According to him and when I asked if that would disqualify me he said no. From reading on here I have learned that recruiters do not always tell the truth. I was just wondering if anybody on here thinks if this is something I should worry about?
Thank you for your help,
Mike.

How long since you had tickets? Was it in cmv?
-
I got the failure to obey in September and the speeding ticket was in November. I was not in a commercial vehicle.

Recruiters lie....about what you will make. Mileage, etc...They will tell you what you want to hear to get you into their trucks. When it comes to stuff that will keep you out of their trucks, they will usually tell the truth. I don't think it will be a problem...

You should be ok but if i where you i wouldn't plan on getting anymore tickets. Since those two are so close together. Employeer might consider you reckless driver.

I totally agree with both of your points. I will find out if I am accepted by PAM by next Friday. Thank you both very much for your help.
