Kidding aside, companies don't like teams that are geographically separated because of this very situation with home time.
Save yourself and your buddy some trouble & find a new 2nd seat. Your company will give you holy hell if you ask them to juggle home time runs as you're describing.Shortaru Thanks this. -
That's kinda what I figured. Thanks.

Why don't you just go solo and cut through half the problems? Find a gig that runs straight up and down 65, like a flatbed gig, and be home most weekends and still make as much money as you would at USX running team?
"Flatbed? Sounds like too much work."
Well, you're do want your kids to remember what you look like, right?
"Right."
And you do want money, right?
"Right."
So why not give it a shot?
"Well, I really don't want to get dirty, and being out in the sun is bad for my skin and..."
And you won't have to smell another man's feet.
"...and it will ruin my manicure."
Oh. Didn't know about the manicure. Nevermind. Carry on.Chinatown, theBadger719 and TruckDuo Thank this. -
We team at US Xpress. They want you to stay out 3-4 weeks at a time. Then you get only 3-4 days off a month. You'll never see your family.
They have a Dollar General account that gives you weekends but it's hard work & only for solo drivers.
