I finally broke down to see what the fuss is all about and ordered one. I was leased on to Chemical Leaman in 96 and 97 and QC reported it on there as me being with them. Thats all mine says.

Given the number of bad companies out there and the ease in which one can report whatever they want for whatever reason and the difficulty a driver has to dispute or have anything corrected on it from what I'm told, do companies looking to hire actually give much credibility to this report? Or even use it for that matter? From what I hear, many companies use this as a way to threaten drivers by putting negative information, whether true or false, as a form of retaliation and it has very little in the way of governing information.
Personally I would think it's credibility, or lack of it, would be a serious concern and it's usefulness pretty much nil.

This DAC report is way too one sided for my taste. It's time this " Hire Right" outfit got with it and treat the DAC like a credit report. We should be able to dispute any info and if it can't be confirmed or verified it should be eliminated,
same with any disputes. After all it's YOUR record and we should have the right to put up to100 words on OUR report explaining any negative reviews.
Just like we can do on our credit report,
    to me, there's no difference.
Just like the BS CSA reports, we should have a bigger say on how it's presented instead of these Govt clowns running rough shod over our livelihoods. They're certainly not democratically run.
One more time, these FMCSA people have got too much power and it just goes to their heads.,
