    does anyone know how i can get the passenger door open on the volvo 770 before i take it to a dealer. My key sounds as if it is unlocking the door but when i pull the latch from outside, nothing. When i try to open from the inside, nothing. Some help please. thanks

    i bought a kit at LOVES its got bunch of blank keys and rods for opening doors ...sounds like something is unhooked inside your door...try playing with key and also pull on handle while you doing it..

    I had the same problem, used a coat hanger. Bottom corner of window (8 o'clock) you can push on the window. When you do this you can see the inner workings.
