Question regarding CDL under 21

    Is the learners permit restricted like that?

    Here in WA you get a CLP (learners permit) that isn't specific to the type of CDL you are shooting for. It's the same CLP for A, B, or C

    Yeah Learner's Permit is restricted too. I asked them about that too. After finding out I have to be 21 to get my CDL Class A, I thought why not just get the learner's permit now, and start my training classes when I am closer to turning 21.

    Even the next state over in NJ, they allow you to get your CDL class A under 21, but it will come with a intrastate restriction (obviously, which is fine)
