I have a 2016 Freight Liner M2 106 that I’m having a constant battle trying to resolve this range inhibit issue. I have taken the truck to two different shops and seem to keep just throwing parts at it with no solution.. So far I’ve replaced the TCM, BHM, and they’ve checked wiring too. Hoping someone has had this happen and maybe might have some other solutions. Thank you so much for your time.

I forgot to mention that I had some fault codes as well.

When is range Inhibit being activated? It should activate if you shift into gear with the park brake applied.
Some trucks require you have the service brake applied when you shift into gear.

    BoxCarKidd Thanks this.

Parking brake applied still, or you need to make a service brake application while shifting out of neutral. So these switch inputs need to be checked.
