Rear axle alignment Pete 379

1996 Pete 379. Took it to peterbilt shortly after buying it cause it pulled hard right and loose steering. Replaced everything in the front end. Gear box, drag link pitman arm tie rod assy, axle doctor for king pin specs and 1 new hub with bearings. They aligned steer axle and front drive axle. Invoice stated right rear drive out 3/8" and needs to come forward (impossible on invoice). Left side had NO shims and right side already had appx 3/8" worth of shims. "Was unable to complete alignment" charged me for 3 axle alignment anyways.

Went to northwest tire and showed them the peterbilt invoice and write up. They aligned it to within spec by adding a bit longer shim bolt on the right rear drive axle. They wanted to tear into it but it was Friday afternoon and no time till Monday so they got me going. He said 3/8" is a ridiculous amount out and tears everything up. Which is evident by the new tranny, new rear end, new tires and new u joints put in before I bought it.

Now I'm curious where to start. I have to replace the axle housing as it is cracked in the ubolt saddle. The center pin on the right looks to be forward and on the left is centered in the slot. I'll try to attach pics
