Could I find a DD13 or 15 in a parts yard that is separate from a rig and buy it to rebuild??? How about an Eaton 13 speed also???

I would be very cautious about tearing down a transmission to rebuild it yourself. They can be very complicated and require a good 50t press to press gears off the shafts. Aswell as if you don't get everything timed up properly catastrophic damage will be the result. I have seen the countershafts out of time climb the mainshaft and rupture the case not a pretty sight.
