When I read the job opening or speak to a recruiter, can I believe what is says about the pay. It doesn't list the cpm, but it give a yearly amount. Any truth in this? I know I maybe asking a lot of questions, but I just want all my ducks in a row.
Thanks again

Recruiters are paid to give you the sunshine, roses, and lollipops to get you in the door. Annual pay is an average of . They should be able to give you a per mile amount.

Recruiters would never lie to you. EVER. Well, at least no more than a used car salesperson or a politician.
By all means, talk with the recruiter. Then go to your local truck stop and see if you can find a few drivers from that company to talk to. They will come a lot closer to giving you the "real deal" on what goes on in the company. -
You could find out how much per mile they'll pay you, then multiply by 100k miles. That's a bit on the conservative side, but not much I'd think. It's not uncommon to get 120k per year, but you'd have to average 10k per month to get that, or 2500 per week. Some weeks ya drive less, some more. Somewhere between 100k and 120k would be realistic. That's how I'd look at it.
