I come unglued when I see some tool running with 4 ways on. Its usually some greenhorn fresh off the boat. All 2 lane where I run. Put your big girl panties on or get off the road!

BTW, I would suggest for my fellow exp. drivers who wish to argue with me, 18 mos. ago, we had a massive pile up on I 80 in Wyoming that left one dead, several injured, and shut down the highway for 12+ hours. As was pointed out, POOR VISIBILITY AND SPEED were the causes of that accident, with the majority of the vehicles being trucks, in fact the crash was caused by a truck. Reducing speed, and taking whatever steps possible to ensure others are aware of your reduced speed, might definitely be a good thing. Not to mention there have been multiple large crashes in Michigan in recent years caused by speed and poor visibility.okiedokie, misterG, JReding and 1 other person Thank this. -
I use my 4 ways for backing that's about it.
If you rear end me in the rain or snow that's on you. I got 48 feet of liquid to absorb the impact I'll be alright.Mudguppy and bottomdumpin Thank this. -
I haul gasoline and none of our drivers or any of the drivers loading at the rack will drive with their flashers on. You run into the back of us then there's a big problem. If the visibility is that bad we just simply pull of the road and wait. -
New Mexico tells motorists - in the event of severe dust storm and if you must stop, pull off the roadway and TURN OFF lights. Not sure what exactly what their thinking is there but I have an idea.
