This is the rear air tank on my trailer, located between the spread axle. Time to think about changing it or still got lots of life left? Would hate for it to rust a hole through at the wrong time.....

When you are about to start your home time, depressurized the system and give it a whack of the hammer.

I wonder if the insides rusty? I’ve had gas tanks look like new on outside, rusty inside. Rusty outside, like new inside. Usually one or the other. Same with body panels, especially doors.

    JonJon78 Thanks this.

Use a needle scaler to remove paint and rust. Yours looks like a little rust under the paint. Or as mentioned earlier, whack it with a hammer.

    Rideandrepair and JonJon78 Thank this.
