This is the rear air tank on my trailer, located between the spread axle. Time to think about changing it or still got lots of life left? Would hate for it to rust a hole through at the wrong time.....

Yeah @Jonjon499 those tanks aren't very expensive....im talking maybe like 2-300$ and its something you can replace yourself.

I wonder if the insides rusty? I’ve had gas tanks look like new on outside, rusty inside. Rusty outside, like new inside. Usually one or the other. Same with body panels, especially doors.

Use a needle scaler to remove paint and rust. Yours looks like a little rust under the paint. Or as mentioned earlier, whack it with a hammer.
