There’s no pressure, if the caps off the radiator, maybe put a wrench on the hose part of the fitting, and crank away on the crowfoot

Ok, I just drained the coolant and tried again and I can't get it off. I can say for sure its not a matter of getting a wrench on there because I can do that..... it just acts as if there is pressure in there.

There’s no pressure, it’s a coolant line, like any other heater hose. Why not take the block side off first if you can? Any pressure will bleed off once it’s loose. Acts like, what do you mean? It’s squirting coolant? Let it drain, take it off.

Looks to be a swivel end. Are you sure you have it backed off all the threads? Sometimes there’s a little twist in the line and it can screw itself back on a thread.

Its like I can tighten it up, then I go to loosen it and it will only loosen back to where it was before I tightened it. Ill try the block side first this time in about an hour......In post #35 what is the silver braided line next to it? Is it an air line I assume? Just incase I need to remove that line....

SS line may be under pressure. Pump brake pedal down, before taking it off. The nuts just jamming up, spray with WD, or PB, and maybe try wiggling the hose, while you turn the nut. Or put another wrench on the hose side, and crank it off.

Well I twisted the line and it crumbled. Which is good because I’d rather it do it while I’m home rather than while I’m driving. I figured out why it wasn’t coming loose.... in one of the pictures you see I have the wrench on it, what was happening was the wrench was hitting the bottom exhaust thing So it wasn’t turning any further.
I know now the proper procedure is to take the block side off first. Because once I got that side off the tough part became easy. I’ll get hose made tomorrow morning.

    Rideandrepair and 062 Thank this.

That’s good, so the line was brittle. Mine just has a silicone hose for both, Good solid line, I think is better.
