Rest Area Shake Downs

Stopping in rest areas isn't the norm here, if directed to do so where the law is sent up I would or if it has some space for a brief stop.. I don't use them too much in general. Why ?

 

Rest areas are great for, man I gotta pee, oh sweet, a rest area. Beyond that, I prefer the truck stops.

 

I'll take just about anything over a truck stop.

 

I've seen them do it in Indiana before. I'd be madder than he'll if one of them some me up to try an do an inspection. It wouldn't be pleasant

 

you like rest area's ? go for it .. There worse then some truck stops. plus there aren't any showers but hey, I'm sure you've got that figured out.

Truck stops are fine. I treat them like a contaminated alien planet. Don't breathe in too heavily. Don't stay too long. And have a strong decontamination protocol. I lysol spray my shoes and then do a quick squirt of hand sanitizer upon entry to the space tractor.

Today at loves I fueled up, then ran inside to take a leak and grab my receipt. As I'm washing my hands a rather ugly feller walks out of a stall, doesn't wash his hands, then I see him fondling the hot dog station tongs and bun drawer. Disgusting.

 

If everyone parked in the same area we'd all be screwed, there's room for everybody.

 

Middle of the day is the best time to grab a quick clean shower.

TS's are full of newbies and megas waiting to back into you.

I'll take my quiet hideaways. Besides I like good food. You dont find that in a truck stop.
