39??? Tain't Nada. Came through the badlands one night in July, south out of Scenic SD. 80-million degrees during the day, you'd swear the place was dead. At night? 39 deer and a dozen antelope every 100 feet. The only brouse grows within 20 feet of the highway on the runoff. Now that'll get her sphyncter going... waitin' for somethin' to jump out in front of ya!

Am i seriously the only driver thats willing to admit hes hit a skunk? The worst 2 I ever got were 50 miles apart an hour into my drive time...and Im almost positive all their spray went on my truck and trailer. Man alive that truck could've knocked buzzers off a gut wagon. Sadly I've hit just about every 4 legged critter. 1 deer, 18 coons, 34 opposums (35 if you count the one I hit with a 2x4) 6 pheasants, 1 turkey, a cow (Jack Daniels was involved get off me) no horses yet but know a guy that did still puzzled as to how you hit a horse with a dump truck, the 2 skunks, countless birds, 1 of which I didn't know I hit until it shot out of the air horn, no dogs, 3 cats (1 was black yep he lost all 9 lives that night in a matter of half a second probably explains why I have bad luck lol), I have hit more squirrels than i can count because i aim for them hate them laughing litter jerks and finally about a 4ft long brown snake that met his unfortunate demise thanks to my steer tires. I suppose PETA is going to put a contract on me now.
luvtotruck Thanks this. -
I was up in Missouri, I hit a Deer, he was out in the median and I was slowing down to get past the heard standing back further from the road then him, he decides to race the truck at an angle towards the slow lane with me grabbing gears and slowing he jump right dead center my bumper, I looked in my mirrors and out he came from under the trailer, I stopped a ways down the road and all he did was push the bumper in a little and bent the license plate. He was deer burger after he came out the back.
