I attended Roadmaster and tested out in April ‘22. Myself and over 250 other drivers were notified last week that their testing procedures were substandard and we all need to retest or our licenses will be downgraded. Most students went to work for Werner as they own the school, while some of us went other directions. How should I explain this to my employer? The notification states that we must return to the Bethlehem campus and retest with PennDOT on the date/time they specify or our licenses will no longer be valid.
Thanks Werner.

What should he do if his employer doesn't allow him to retest and/or fires him for not having a valid license?kuzima93, Boondock, mjd4277 and 1 other person Thank this.

Unlikely. But he'll just have to ask @Chinatown for companies.
It's called wearing your big boy pants. -
There's a law suit waiting to happen. Now, who's gonna pay the legal fees.

Luckily I have access to a truck and sponsor driver to schedule my own test. However it seems like I cannot schedule a test while I have a valid license. Maybe I need to relinquish my my license and then Schedule another test. The problem is in NY it could take weeks. I don’t want to return to the same campus to retest. 250 pissed off truckers have been invited back
To where they were screwed. What could possibly go wrong?kuzima93, Boondock, sevenmph and 1 other person Thank this. -
Already in motion.

Years ago, same thing happened at Swift for drivers attending the school in Memphis.
If I remember correctly, the instructors were cheating on the road test a little. No big deal about it; just had so many students to graduate. That's the only Swift school that was doing that.Last edited: Jul 23, 2022

Doubt it will fly. Assuming they are doing this as soon as they were aware. They notified the impacted timely and offered a no cost solution.
