Roehl Choice Pay Plan

it confuses the heck out of me but I run hard and stay out of trouble...I'm satisfied with my paychecks so far.

 

Since I got on a dedicated acct the choice plan is gone and they don't say anything about mileage or idle time. Checks are better than I was getting on national with the my choice plan. But don't ask me to explain either one.

 

The Choice Pay Plan is a conditioning tool. You get points for good actions and you have points taken away for bad actions. Then you are scored against all other drivers in the plan. If your level is higher at the end of the current quarter than last quarter you get a raise. Add points for good subtract points for bad. AS goblue said run hard and stay out of trouble and you will be satisfied.
Now disclaimer. I read this plan twice and it’s still not crystal clear. If you are a Roehl driver read it in the latest Driver Guide (black and white one).

 

got a message to call in regarding quarter report. called in and was informed of a raise under the plan. Im at the end of my first year with Roehl so it takes a little while to go in effect (this was the first). I'm really not keeping close track of the pay plan thing, i just really don't have time to. It wasn't gigantic or anything but it was rewarding to get something extra for the effort i've been putting in. In order for me to survive out here i've been taking each plan or task assigned as a personal challenge to complete, not so much that I'm concerned with what the company makes or does with it. I have good management, good equipment, and a good atmosphere with in which to work. I just drive the truck and do the best I can with the tools i have.
