Don't let a company tell you can idle if ur trying to sleep

I do not work for them, but know a couple that do. Some have apu's and some have battery packs.

I was considering SNI, but their drivers are all fired up over the ambient sensors that won't allowing idling between 20-70. Some of the sensors won't even allow idling outside of those parameters. Many are leaving the company over them. I was hoping Roehl didn't have them.

The internationals with battery packs aren't bad. The heater and ac work fine, and the auto start on newer ones will override idle shutdown to recharge batteries.

We have similar sensors, but we also use apu's and epu's to heat and/or cool the cabin. our internationals have auto-start which starts the truck and runs it to charge batteries for epu system as needed. Unless these systems for heating & cooling are down, theres no need for the truck to idle.
