I am not sure what is high or low rate most places in Toronto area advertise O/O $1.50 mil average and company driver $0.50 mil.

Thoughts...?

1.50 per mile for an O/O feels a lot worse to me than .50 for a driver. You get to keep the whole .50. I'd be shocked if you were keeping .50 after paying all expenses at 1.50. That's why I haven't found anyone to haul a load for 1.50 since 2016 out of anywhere but FL in the off season lol.
