Rude dispatch

Just smile and ask them if they are feeling OK today , sometimes we have to treat them like a 2yr old, to make them realize how idiotic they are acting like
.... How would you feel having 4 walls around you every day in the same place, at the same time with the same people EVERY DAY?
... misery loves a good reaction out the driver, so don't give them any relief by reacting to them
Instead kindly remind them how miserable they are and how sorry you feel for them

I look at it this way,if dispatch doesn't like their job then find something else.No reason to take their anger out on drivers.Same with drivers if they are that unhappy then find another job.All they do is bring everyone else down.

 

A Klingon dispatcher would be cool as heck! Imagine some whiny newbie telling off a Klingon dispatcher!

Well in all honesty, I try to not let others attitude or behavior dictate how I conduct myself. On another note I don't like TQL

 

If YOU had to spend the entire day talking to truck drivers on the phone, and doing that day in and day out, you'd probably turn into a rude person yourself...

Yup, never seen a rude truck driver. Even when they leave piss jugs on the parking lot, they always say "sorry"
