The 300 miles is no problem in that time frame, but when does your clock start and is it also a live unload?
If it is a live unload you may not be able to fit it in a 14 hour shift.

What time did the clock start? You’ll need 5-6 hrs driving time available. Otherwise show up to load before 2:00 pm. Preferably earlier. Start out at midnight or earlier with a fresh 14 available.

    kylefitzy and Lonester28 Thank this.

Yeah I could easily knock that 300 miles out in a few hours , Yeah both are live load and live unload . I have most of the day tomarrow to figure out what time to start it but idk if I can make that delivery if I do my 10 hr or try and do a split

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

You can not do a 10 in that time.
Maybe someone who uses the split can help.

I would have flatly turned that load down.

Yeah most likely I'll have to talk with my dispatch and try to get that delivery time pushed back by a few hours .

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Split Sleeper. Do it all the time. Taking a 7-8 hr. break feels a lot less boring than a 10.

DON'T try to figure out the drive time at the speed limit, use 48 mph to figure out how much drive time you need.

austinmike, Rideandrepair and lual Thank this.

    Pushed forward in time, actually.
But that should have been done before you accepted the load.

At my company I would have used mac 9 to counter the times.
Sure, I'll pick up the live load at 1730.
That would put me at 1930 when loaded, but then I would be shutting down for the night.
Add in my 12 hour break and I would be driving at 0800 the next morning.
5 hours of drive time plus one hour of leeway would put the delivery at 1400.

MSWS, beastr123, gentleroger and 2 others Thank this.
