i was running overhead on series 60 detroit DDEC 111 12.7l and got to the last cylinder for adjustments as i was turning engine to proper position when POP, i look over n smoke with debri looked like it came from intake side rear. have no idea what it was. i stopped doing what i was doing and went home to cry! any possible ideas as to what might have happened?

Were you using the overlap method or companion cylinder?
Had you set anything on #6?
Were you using the key to bump it over and not the accessory drive?
Sounds like either a valve hit a piston from being to tight or an injector to tight and broke a spring or worseSAR and Justrucking2 Thank this.
