DH got a warning for overweight, when he told dispatch they chewed his ##### over it. Saying that this warning would affect their safestat numbers. In all my research I can't see where warnings will affect them, it's been 2 months since this happened, and this inspection is NOT showing on Safestat.
Does anyone know if a warning does actually have an impact on the safestat ratings?

1 warning?
Not likely.
Now if the company had one OOS (out of service) after another, it would affect their SAFER STATS.
A company I USED to work for has a SAFER ISS rating of 88. Amazing then are still in business. Their equipment OOS rate is over 30%, and a 15% driver OOS rate. -
It seems that OOS is about all the Safestat will get recorded.
I was looking just this week at the old company my brother and I used to run. They only have two level one inspections recorded on that info. ONE OOS that my brother got, and apparently one inspection of me. I know for a fact I got a whole lot more than just one inspection!!!!! I don't think their records are very accurate. -
how do you access these stat......can anyone see them?
-
Older "records" might have dropped off.

First of all you need to know the ICC or the DOT numbers. http://www.safersys.org
You can also get the ISS Rating. (Inspection Selection System)
Numbers from 1-100
1-49 = PASS, no inspection warrented
50-74 = Optional, worth a "look"
75-100 = Inspect, reason Poor Safety
-
Any time I've ever looked thats all they had. Just the two. -
Your safer stat rating only gets dinged if you get an OOS violation. If your company has many trucks/drivers it wont be majorly affected, but if your company only has a few drivers/trucks it will impact the score greater.
