Even Wilson thinks that is a very bad move.

Just another employer showing that they only care about the bottom line! It's disgusting that people can be so insensitive.

Apparently this particular butthead boss doesn't realize that technically, it's a crime if you DON'T call and report it or stop to help!!!

Err ... no. Even the police don't have to help. Leastwise, there's no laws that require them to and that goes double for samaritans

Sorry, I had intended to write that differently, but thank you for clarifying. :)

Maybe he should become a police officer? And btw, his employer is an "ahole" if that's how he handles things. I am also a good Samaritan and will (usually) help people if they are in need (broken down, etc.). It makes a person feel great to do these things. It's caused me to be SLIGHTLY late for more than one date/dinner/company event but I always ask people to think about it like this: if that was YOUR dad, mom, grandma, grandpa, sister, etc. what would you want people to do? Just drive by them and do nothing?

That's the problem with America today (in my 23 y/o opinion:biggrin_255:): no one wants to stop and meet/help out their neighbor. Everyone's in such a hurry to go do ____ that they cannot stop and help someone. Every time I drive or go anywhere (especially around here) it seems like no one gives a POOP about anybody. Sometimes I think I was born about 30 years too late. Makes me wish I'd been raised more like all of the good little yuppie children to not give a #### about anybody ... instead of taking all this crap over stopping and helping someone out.

The guy does the only right and humane thing to do - stop and help. I really think they should have mentioned who he was driving for so the rest of us could really voice our opinions!
