The one in York NE is just a BP gas station with diesel and truck parking.

 

Some of them are older facilities like the one in Omaha, but have been updated. The one in Denver used to be the Monfort terminal. Restaurants are good... beats PeeLot by a mile.

 

There is one in Peru, IL. Its an older place, not been to that location for awhile, but when I was there, it had a family restaurant and a burger king inside the place.

SLC,Denver, and Omaha, have had thier resturants remodle from the ground up. Very nice, comfortable, and all have power outlets under the tables along the walls to plug in your phone charge, laptop, also free wifi.

 

I miss the one in Omaha! I used to stop there all the time on the way into the main Werner HQ. I was going to stop at the Council Bluffs Sapp Bros but it was a wee bit out of route today.

 

I stop at the one in Cheyenne a lot. Not really much to say about it good or bad really other than there is no pull up parking at the island. I do have to say though that their employees there treat you very nicely compared to most truck stops and don't have the "I'm depressed and completely hate my job look" on their face.

 

Also a Sapp Brothers in Clearfield, PA (I-80 x120). Very comfortable and great food.

 

If you're by the one in Peru, IL (exit 74 or 75 I think) I prefer the Road Ranger at exit 56 (Princeton, IL) cuz they got good food there. Can't speak for the buffet but the menu stuff, every single thing I've ever ordered there is great.

 

I was gonna ask about that one... I've gone past place dozens of time for the TA just down the road...and I hate that TA!!! Looks like I may have to start camping in Clearfield... thanks for posting!
